Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

(Tumi) Phire eso tumi phire eso
Phágun pháge man ráuṋiye
Chande ráge náciye diye
Maner gopál anuráge
Ábár phire eso

Manke shuci karechi áj tomár náme gáne
Manke sájiyechi ámi shiiter raktáruńe
Maner gopál maner końe miśt́imadhur heso

Neiko kichu ámár káche sab kichu to tomár áche
Tomár jinis tomáy dilum nayko ámár lesho
Maner gopál jugántarer hási niye eso

O lord,
return back.

With the festival of colours in spring,
You coloured my mind
and made it dance with rhythm and melody.

O gopa'l of my mind,
with love come back again.

I purify my mind today
with your name and song.

I decorate my mind
with the crimson dawn of winter.

O gopa'l of my mind,
in the corner of my mind,
smile sweetly.

I have nothing of my own,
for all belongs to you.

I offer unto you your own belonging,
leaving not even a single trace for myself.

O gopa'l of my mind,
after eras,
come back with a smile.
