Chande chande gáṋthi tava jayamálá
Gandheri ucchváse bhare tuli d́álá
Káń pete rai májhe májhe

Madhur parashe karo ujjiivita ámáre
Práńer shikháy udbhásiyá more
Tomár chande giite nandanamadhu srote
Ámáre lágáo tava káje

Ámi je ańu tava tumi cira abhinava
Tomár májháre pái priitisudhá nava nava
Ámár ákuti jata ámár prańati shata
Tomár karuńá sadá jáce

তুমি তুমি তুমি
এসো কাছে আরও কাছে
ছন্দে ছন্দে গাঁথি তব জয়মালা
গন্ধেরই উচ্ছ্বাসে ভরে’ তুলি ডালা
কাণ পেতে রই মাঝে মাঝে

মধুর পরশে করো উজ্জীবিত আমারে
প্রাণের শিখায় উদ্ভাসিয়া মোরে
তোমার ছন্দে গীতে নন্দনমধু স্রোতে
আমারে লাগাও তব কাজে

আমি যে অণু তব তুমি চির অভিনব
তোমার মাঝারে পাই প্রীতিসুধা নব নব
আমার আকুতি যত আমার প্রণতি শত
তোমার করুণা সদা যাচে

O lord,
please come close,
come still closer.

With every melody of mine,
a victory garland for you was threaded.

My offering pot,
I filled with emanating fragrance.

Internally, in the midst,
I attuned my ears to listen.

Enliven me with your sweet touch
and illuminate me with the flame of life.

With your melody and song,
originating from pleasing nectar,
put me to your work.

I am but a mere particle of yours.
You are the ever fresh nectar of love.

All my earnestness
and all my hundreds of salutations
beg for your kindness only.
