Kálo kúheliká pár haye ese
Áloy dhanya hayechi (ámi)

Kona lokaláj neiko hetháy
Ghrńá jugupsá thákite ná páy
Nindá stutir úrdhvalokete
Se carańe t́háṋi peyechi (ámi)

Kula shiil bodh mán apamán
Shauṋká tarás jata abhimán
Atiite jáhárá beṋdhe rekhechila
Táder báṋdhan chiṋŕechi (ámi)

বিশ্ব ভুবন ঘুরিয়া ঘুরিয়া
এক স্থানে এসে’ পৌঁছেছি (আমি)
কালো কুহেলিকা পার হয়ে এসে'
আলোয় ধন্য হয়েছি (আমি)

কোন লোকলাজ নেইকো হেথায়
ঘৃণা-জুগুপ্সা থাকিতে না পায়
নিন্দা-স্তুতির ঊর্ধ্বলোকেতে
সে চরণে ঠাঁই পেয়েছি (আমি)

কুল-শীল বোধ মান-অপমান
শঙ্কা-তরাস যত অভিমান
অতীতে যাহারা বেঁধে’ রেখেছিল
তাদের বাঁধন ছিঁড়েছি (আমি)

I wandered about here and there in this world
and have now finally reached the proper place.

Crossing the dark fog and attaining light
I became glorified.

Here, no worldly shyness persists.
Hatred and backbiting have no more quarter.

Beyond condemnation and praise,
I found shelter at your feet.

I broke the bondage
of dynasties,
manners,
praise and defamation, of fear,
and of all egoistic feelings,
which, in the past, had kept me bound.
