Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ajáná pathik
Ár ki ajáná ácho
Bháve abháve anubhave
Maner mukure bhesecho

Máni tumi ásitecho anádi hate
Jáni tumi caliyácho dúránte
Tabu vartamáne smita phule naváruńe
Citi alakáy nevecho

Manamańidyuti tumi manete bháso
Maner atiita loke pulake háso
Tabu karechinu áshá brhater bhálabásá
Tái cetanáy esecho

Unknown Traveler,
Are You unfamiliar any more?
In existence and in absence, perceptibly,
You have floated on the mental mirror.

I hold that You're arriving from a state beginningless;
I know that You have gone unto a far-away realm.
Yet for a smiling bloom under a newly risen sun at present,
You've descended with mind's providential kingdom.

Psyche's jeweled luster, upon mind You drift;
At the realm beyond mind, You smile in thrill.
Nonetheless, I'd relied on love of the Great;
Hence, with awareness You have come.
