Áṋdhár sariye diyeche
Kuheliká kálo javaniká
Nimeśe háriye giyeche

Se áṋdhár chilo tamisrátama
Mánasabhúmite jaŕatár tamah
Jakhani elo mor priyatama
Palake álok neceche

Kata rtu tithi más cale geche
Kata ná varaśá ajhore jhareche
Kata phulamálá mát́ite misheche
Tár amlán dyuti rayeche

আলোকের সাজে এসেছে সে সেজে'
আঁধার সরিয়ে দিয়েছে
কুহেলিকা কালো যবনিকা
নিমেষে হারিয়ে গিয়েছে

সে আঁধার ছিলো তমিস্রাতম
মানসভূমিতে জড়তার তমঃ
যখনই এলো মোর প্রিয়তম
পলকে আলোক নেচেছে

কত ঋতু তিথি মাস চলে' গেছে
কত না বরষা অঝোরে ঝরেছে
কত ফুলমালা মাটিতে মিশেছে
তার অম্লান দ্যুতি রয়েছে

He has come dressed in light's raiment;
He has cast away the darkness.
Fog-ebony, a black curtain,
In a trice, lost has it gotten.

That ebony, it had been most gloomy,
Inertial darkness in the realm of psyche.
As soon as came my Dearest Darling,
Light-rays have danced in a moment.

Many a season, date, and month have departed;
Incessantly, immense rain has fallen.
Many floral garlands, with dust have they mingled;
But His luster has remained unfaded.
