Sure ráge bhare rayecho
Mananer mańiká máláy
Karuńár dhárá d́hálile

Chande tumi rayecho
Svacchande nácitecho
Jiivaner shuktibeláy
Eká chile anek hale

আমার এ মনোবীণায়
তব রাগ নাহি এলে'
ভুবন ভাসায়ে দিও
অনুভূতির উপকূলে

রণনে তুমি আছো
সুরে রাগে ভরে' রয়েছো
মননের মণিকা মালায়
করুণার ধারা ঢালিলে

ছন্দে তুমি রয়েছো
স্বচ্ছন্দে নাচিতেছো
জীবনের শুক্তিবেলায়
একা ছিলে অনেক হলে

On this my mental lyre,
Your raga did not come.
Please set my world floating
From the coast of sensory perception.

You are present in a jingling;
Tune and music mode You've kept filling.
On a garland the Gem of Surmise,
You dispensed a flow of compassion.

You've remained inside a beat;
Unrestrained You went on dancing.
On the nacre shore of life,
Alone You'd been, then numerous.
