Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ámár sauṋge calo bandhu
Man pavaner náy
Rasulpurer nadiir sheśe
Júnput́eri gáy

Nadii ságarete meshe
Niilákáshe bhálabese'
Pániikaoŕi báliháṋse
Shiiter ávás cáy

Mánuś jetháy ati bhálo
Mane bhará priitir álo
Táder mukhe duhkher kálo
Sahá náhi jáy
Eso táder tare táder ghare
Raci nava dharáy

O, companion, come with me
sailing on the mental yacht
to the end of the river in Rasulpur
into the village of Ju'nput'.
The river merges in the sea,
with love in the blue sky.
The Seagulls and ba'lii ducks
smilingly look for shelter in the cold.
People there are very good minds
filled with effulgence of love.
It is unbearable to see
darkness of misery in their face.
Come for them to their home,
creating new world.
Come along with me friend
in the boat of mental wind.
