Áṋdháre tumi ele
Áloy bhariyá dile
Gláni dúre gelo
Tamasá nimeśe sarále

Je puiṋjiibhúta megh
Jiivane d́hákiyá chilo
Tava mádhurii saḿveg
Táháke bhásáye dilo
Bhár mukta kare more
Nikat́e t́ániyá nile

Sauṋge rayecho prabhu
Ekákii nahi je kabhu
Jeneo keṋdechi tabu
Se káṋdá ájike bholále

আঁধারে তুমি এলে
আলোয় ভরিয়া দিলে
গ্লানি দূরে গেলে
তমসা নিমেষে সরালে

যে পুঞ্জীভূত মেঘ
জীবনে ঢাকিয়া ছিলো
তব মাধুরী-সংবেগ
তাহাকে ভাসায়ে দিলো
ভার-মুক্ত করে' মোরে
নিকটে টানিয়া নিলে

সঙ্গে রয়েছো প্রভু
একাকী নহি যে কভু
জেনেও কেঁদেছি তবু
সে কাঁদা আজিকে ভোলালে

O Lord, You came during my darkness,
and filled my life with illumination.
All weariness went away,
as You removed my darkness in moments.
The accumulated clouds
that had overcasted my life,
Your sweet impact blew them away.
Making me free from the burden,
You pulled me close.
O Lord, You remain together with me
hence I am never alone.
Even after knowingly this fact,
I cry, and that lamentation,
You made me forget today.
