Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bhálabásá elo jiivane
(Kena ke jáne) Kena ke jáne
Tanmay hayechi dhyáne
Báṋdhá paŕechi práńe

Jamát́ báṋdhá him palake galiyá gelo
Varńojjval hem pulake phut́e ut́hilo
Sabár tare mane mamatá dekhá dilo
Sabi tava chande gáne

Ákásh bhará megh nimeśe bhásiyá gelo
Cidákásh jyotsnáy udbhásita halo
Jáhá bhávi nái táhá rúpáyita haye elo
Tava mádhuriiri t́áne

Love came into my life;
Who knows why, who knows why?
Absorbed in meditation sunk have I;
I've been trussed by earnest desire.

In a wink, the thick-cinched ice left melting;
Golden and aglow, thrilling It rose blossoming.
In psyche a sense of kinship came for everybody...
All things Thine... cadence and song thereby.

The clouds abrim on firmament floated off instantly;
With moonlight the mind-sky glistened brightly.
What I imagined not, that came about, getting embodied
By lure of Your sweet-exquisite style.
