Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Gáner e áuṋgináte
Ele tumi ei prabháte
Man kajjale lukiyechile
Dekhá dile ácambite

Tumi dharár sárátsár
Jiṋán karma sabi tomár
Ahamikáy matta haye
Ámár bhávi mane bholáte

Tumi cháŕá ár keha nái
Tava budbud je sabái
Tava sáyare sinán kare'
Mishe' jábo sheśe tomáte

O Lord, in this courtyard of songs,
You came this morning.
You were hidden within the darkness of the mind,
suddenly You were seen.
You are the essence of essence of the world.
All the knowledge and actions belong to You,
but remaining frenzied with ego,
I considered them as mine deluding my own mind.
There is no existence other than You,
all entities are merely Your bubbles.
Bathing within Your ocean,
I would finally merge within You at the end.
