Tava iccháy ámi ási jái
Tumi cháŕá mor ár keha nái
Bhule thákileo tomákei cái
Tumi biná náhi gati ámár

Pathahárá pathiker dhruvatárá
Támasii jáminiiteo álo jhará
Niiras kant́he tumi niiradhárá

(কোন) অলস প্রহরে যদি ভাব মোরে
মনে রেখো শুধু আমি তোমার
শত দোষে ঢাকা তবু প্রীতি-মাখা
দূরে ছুঁড়ে’ ফেলো না ভেবে’ ভার

তব ইচ্ছায় আমি আসি যাই
তুমি ছাড়া মোর আর কেহ নাই
ভুলে’ থাকিলেও তোমাকেই চাই
তুমি বিনা নাহি গতি আমার

পথহারা পথিকের ধ্রুবতারা
তামসী যামিনীতেও আলো-ঝরা
নীরস কন্ঠে তুমি নীরধারা
তৃপ্তি-উৎস সুধাসার

If You should think about me in an hour of leisure,
Please just keep in mind that I am Yours.
Wrapped inside a hundred flaws, still I am love-coated;
Please don't toss me aside, thinking of the burden.

At Your will I come and leave;
But for You, for me there is nobody.
Even if You forgot me, I desire You only;
Without You there's no way at all for me.

Polestar of the wayward pilgrim,
Even at darkest night, a stream of effulgence...
In a parched throat, You're a flow of water,
A fountain of delight, essence of ambrosia.
