Pratyáshá kichu ná rekhe
Lukocurikhelá khele jáo
Keu tomáke khuṋjche dekhe

Áloy seje tháko áṋdhár
Amár májhe álok apár
Jiivan mrtyu setu párápár
Karáo nije áŕále theke

Hatásh práńer tumii áshá
Nishár sheśe rauṋin úśá
Path-háráke dekháo dishá
Chaŕiye priiti dike dike

লুকিয়ে তুমি কাজ করে' যাও
প্রত্যাশা কিছু না রেখে'
লুকোচুরিখেলা খেলে' যাও
কেউ তোমাকে খুঁজছে দেখে'

আলোয় সেজে' থাক আঁধার
অমার মাঝে আলোক অপার
জীবন মৃত্যু সেতু পারাপার
করাও নিজে আড়ালে থেকে

হতাশ প্রাণের তুমিই আশা
নিশার শেষে রঙিন ঊষা
পথহারাকে দেখাও দিশা
ছড়িয়ে প্রীতি দিকে দিকে

Hidden, You go on working,
Storing up no expectation.
You keep playing hide-and-seek,
Observing those searching for Thee.

Garbed in light, You stay darkened;
Mid the new moon, luster boundless.
Bridge between two banks, life and death,
Yourself, You make concealed.

You are the hope of a despondent heart,
At nighttime's end, a colored dawn.
Way You show to one whose path is lost,
Having strewn love everywhere.
