Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Mánavatár ketan sammukhe dhari
Egiye calechi tava pathe
Satya nyáyer shastra dhariyá
Sońá jhará ei suprabháte

Áshár pradiip jvale cetanáy
Nútan kariyá gaŕibo dharáy
Tomár krpáy tava karuńáy
D́aribo ná kona bádháke

Mánilám kichu derii haye geche
Kichu kál geche alasa akáje
(Áj) Tava krpákańá mátháy bahiyá
Piche ná cáhiyá cali pathe
Svapna sádher nava jiivaner
Drśt́ite bhará áṋkhipáte

Holding to the fore humanism's flag
We've marched ahead on Your path.
Bearing the sword of truth and justice
On this morning, gold-dripping.

With consciousness, the lamp of hope's ablaze,
In a world that we'll remake.
By Your mercy, by Your grace,
We'll not fear any barricade.

Verily, a short delay there's been;
A little time has passed in idle mischief.
Now, bearing on head some of Your kindness,
Not looking back, we march along the path.
New lives and our proffered visions,
They're in plain sight, upon eyelids.
