Ásháy bháśáy bhare diye
Práńer choṋyá dilo

Cáyni kichu káro káche
Ná cáhileo sab niyeche
Bhúmár vinimaye ańu nilo

Jaŕ bhávanáy bhránta mánuś
Mánuś bale chilo ná huṋsh
Jhaiṋjhákáshe bhásá phánush
Mát́ir parash pelo

নাম-না-জানা জগৎ থেকে
অজানা পথিক এলো
এলো এলো
আশায় ভাষায় ভরে' দিয়ে
প্রাণের ছোঁয়া দিলো

চায়নি কিছু কারো কাছে
না চাহিলেও সব নিয়েছে
ভূমার বিনিময়ে অণু নিলো

জড় ভাবনায় ভ্রান্ত মানুষ
মানুষ বলে ছিলো না হুঁশ
ঝঞ্ঝাকাশে ভাসা ফানুশ
মাটির পরশ পেলো

From a realm of unknown appellation,
The Unknown Pilgrim came.
He came, He came.
Having infused hope and tongue,
An existential touch He gave.

Nothing He craved from anyone;
Not even asking, He has received all.
He took a jot, God in exchange.

Deluded by crude thought are humans;
The man says he'd not been cognizant.
Upon a stormy firmament adrift is a sky lantern;
Earth's contact it obtained.
