Divase nishiithe áche mor sáthe
Púrńa kariyá mor jiivan

Jár sheś áche se hay purono
Notuner kabhu sheś nei kona
Ásá jáoyá tár hay ná kakhano
Sarvakáler se je nútan[nb 2]

E nútan mor antare áche
Báhire khuṋjiyá vrthá din geche
Tiirthe tiirthe ghure ghure dúre
Shudhui karechi kálharań

নোতুন এসেছে পুরাতন গেছে
এ নোতুন মোর চির নূতন
দিবসে নিশীথে আছে মোর সাথে
পূর্ণ করিয়া মোর জীবন

যার শেষ আছে সে হয় পুরোনো
নোতুনের কভু শেষ নেই কোন
আসা-যাওয়া তার হয় না কখনো
সর্বকালের সে যে নূতন

এ নূতন মোর অন্তরে আছে
বাহিরে খুঁজিয়া বৃথা দিন গেছে
তীর্থে তীর্থে ঘুরে’ ঘুরে’ দূরে
শুধুই করেছি কালহরণ

The new has come and old has gone.
this new is my ever new.
he is with me day and night;
He is with me, fulfilling my life.
only perishable ones become old.
for the ever new there is never end.
there is no coming and going for him any time.
he always remains new.
this new is within me.
searching him outside has been a loss of time.
Wandering through pilgrim places
simply i have wasted my time.
