Need for adjustment in the spirit of Sarkarverse

This policy sounds like something one might hear on Wikipedia - something that might be more relevant there and something that might create as many problems as it resolves. We should rewrite it to explain the role and purpose of protected articles and the far greater stress that Sarkarverse places on accuracy (or, perhaps better to say, truth). In any event this most definitely is not a "common problem" on Sarkarverse. We have not yet seen any controversy in respect to article content, although that might come in future. As to our policy about article content and article ownership, I am actually inclined to accord some degree of ownership to article creators if that could improve the standard of our articles. One of the big problems on Wikipedia is the ease with which valid and valuable article content is is discarded and valid articles are deleted. Besides the loss of valuable information, this also tends to dishearten and discourage not just new but even senior editors. We don't want to face a similar problem on Sarkarverse. --Abhidevananda (talk) 09:10, 2 August 2014 (MDT)

  • I am actually inclined to accord some degree of ownership to article creators — That does not suit with current license of open encyclopedia. TitoDutta 10:30, 2 August 2014 (MDT)
  • Wikipedia:WP:OWN or SV:OWN actually defends the tendency that "this is my article, I'll not allow any other editor to work here. In this article I'll have my own rules". On the other hand there is project like Wikipedia:Wikipedia:WikiProject India/Adopt-an-Article (not implemented in Sarkarverse) where someone can openly and officially get attached with any article.
