In this chapter Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar discussed the procedure of laying of the foundation stone. He told, after collective [[Iishvara Prańidhána]], the seniormost person will recite the following mantra while laying the stone or brick.<ref name="EE"/>

Then everyone present in the ceremony will recite together: "May today’s laying of the foundation stone be auspicious in all respects. May this stone be a source of bliss to the neighbours, may the neighbours be a source of bliss to this stone. May we soon construct the house on this stone. Oṋḿ shántih, oṋḿ shántih, oṋḿ shántih."<ref name="EE" />
