O lord, who says that you stay far off.
Who claims that You've remained distant?
you are actually so close that we cannot even imagine.
Staying near to such extent does not succeed!
who thinks that you have forgotten me,
Who deems that You've become negligent?
actually you think of me each moment.
Every moment, You keep on considering!
i was thinking that you remained far

and because of that i was wandering uselessly.
I had thought that You've been distant,
today i have recognized you, o lord.
So I've suffered, roundabout having rambled.
your effulgence flashes into my mind.
Now about You, my Lord, I am cognizant;
you listen to everyone's feeling
Your light sparkles within psyche.
and understand the agony of the core.

with the touch of heart to heart,
You hear everybody's tale, the inner pain You digest;
You understand the yearnings.
A heart disclosed to Yours, You take from it anxiousness.
o parama purusa, o' baba, we are ignorant
Oh Master, we are lacking sense, nothing do we comprehend;
and do not know what is proper
But yet we search for defect in Your majestic glory.
that is why we find faults in your glory.
