Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi kii cáo ámi jániná
Kii je balo bujhi ná
Ke tumi ajáná pathik
Kśańek kena thámo ná

Alakár áshiś enecho
Priitir pasará d́helecho
Maner randhre bhesecho
E liilá bujhite pári ná

Jyotsnár cáṋde hesecho
Rámdhanu rauṋ mekhecho
Varaśár gáne metecho
He arúp ajáná

O Lord, I do not know what do You wish.
I do not understand what You say.
Who are You the Unknown Traveler
Why do not You stop just for a moment?
You brought heavenly blessing,
poured forth the articles of love,
glow soaring in recess of my mind,
this divine game, liila’ of Yours,
I am unable to understand.
You smile in the shining moon.
You are smeared with the rainbow colors.
O formless, Unknown, You are absorbed
in the song of rain.
