Priiti d́hálo ráuṋá niire
Báṋcáo ámár pálámúre
Práńer uśńa shváse

Pálámú je ámár priya
Snigdha saral varańiiya
Phuler ráge anuráge
Sabái bhálabáse

বন-পাহাড়ের দেশে
বাঁধনছেঁড়া মন ছুটে' যায়
সুদূর নীলাকাশে

কোয়েল তোমার তীরে তীরে
প্রীতি ঢাল রাঙা নীরে
বাঁচাও আমার পালামূরে
প্রাণের উষ্ণ শ্বাসে

পালামূ যে আমার প্রিয়
স্নিগ্ধ সরল বরণীয়
ফুলের রাগে অনুরাগে
সবাই ভালবাসে

In the land of hills and forests,
Mind unbridled races
Unto blue sky faraway.

Koel River, from shore to shore,
You pour love with water crimson.
My Palamu you preserve
With life's ardent breath.

Palamu is my lover,
Cordial, simple, respectable.
With floral color and devotion,
Everyone it dotes upon.
