Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Vishva jakhan hayni takhan
Tumi chile kár mane
Balo tumi chile konkháne
Keu chilo ná kaite kathá
Dite vyathá kár práńe

Liilár ságar tomáy máni
Liilá kata kat́hor jáni
Liilár t́hakur balo shuńi
Kemane chile nirjane

Shástra darshan jáni ná
Tomáy cháŕá kichu máni ná
Tomár krpár ekt́i kańá
Táito jáci ráte dine

O Lord, when the universe was not created,
in whose mind did you exist?
Tell me where were you?
No one was available for communication or pain.
I consider You the ocean of divine game
and know how harsh is this game.
O the lord of this divine game, listen and talk,
how could you manage in isolation?
I do not know any philosophy or scripture.
I do not accept any entity other than you.
Just a wee bit of your grace I beg day and night.
