O Lord, if in my life a hurricane comes,
When storms arise,
then provide me strength to struggle against that.
Give strength to fight;
If lethargy comes, then fill determination in my mind.
If sloth arrives,
I move on Your path so that I am not covered by darkness.
Infuse resolve inside mind.
You please color my mind with Your color during both

pleasure and pain. On the journey path to effulgence,
On just Your path I have walked,
While moving forward, grant me courage to execute the work
Lest I be cloaked by the dark;
and blessings to break the fear.
In sadness or in mental anguish,
Brighten with only Your color.

Upon splendor's journey,
Forward to proceed,
Diving into action with audacity,
Please shatter fear with blessing.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Jhaiṋjhá jadi áse
Jujhite shakati diyo
Alasatá jadi áse
Mane drŕhatá bhario

Calechi tomári pathe
Jena ná d́háke tamahte
Duhkhe vedanáte
Tomári ráge ráuṋio

Áloker játrápathe
Sumukhe egiye jete
Sáhase káje návite
Áshise bhay bháuṋgiyo

When storms arise,
Give strength to fight;
If sloth arrives,
Infuse resolve inside mind.

On just Your path I have walked,
Lest I be cloaked by the dark;
In sadness or in mental anguish,
Brighten with only Your color.

Upon splendor's journey,
Forward to proceed,
Diving into action with audacity,
Please shatter fear with blessing.
