আলো-ঝরা ঝরণা ধারায়
কে গো এলে
রূপের ছটায় মধুরতায়
মন ভোলালে

অধীর ধরা প্রণয়ভরা
বসেছিল তোমার আশে
মিষ্টি সুরের মাদকতায়
টানলে তারে নিজের পাশে
জাদুর তানে প্রীতির টানে
হিয়া জিনিলে

অরুণ রাগে অনুরাগে
ঊষার কুসুমের পরাগে
উপচে’ পড়া অমর দ্যুতি
দিলে ঢেলে’

O lord,
with the flow of the effulgent fountain,
who is that you who came,
turning my mind oblivious?

The earth was impatiently awaiting you,
hoping for you full of love.

With the intoxication of sweet melody,
and with the pull of magic and love,
You attracted it close.

With a loving crimson colour,
and the pollen of flowers,
