Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áji bhuvana bhará ánande
Tomáre ceyechi tomáre peyechi
Áchi tava sánnidhye (ámi)

Tomár hásite hiyá bhare jáy
Tomári dyutite áṋkhi jhalakáy
Tomári rańane nibhrta bhuvane
Áshá náce nava chande (mor)

Tava dyotanár madhu nikkane
Spandita práń máná náhi máne
Ujáŕ haiyá sab bhálabásá
Vijaŕita tava smarańe
Náce ghiriyá rátul carańe
Mahájágatik chande

Today, my world is full of bliss;
I longed for you,
attained you
and remained in your close proximity.

My heart is filled with your smile.
In your effulgence, my eyes are dazzled.

By your sound, in this lonely world,
my hopes started dancing to new rhythm.

In the sweet and jingling sound
of your figurative expression,
my mind oscillates,
ignoring all rules.

The whole of my love was poured out
and fixed onto your remembrance.

Now, it dances around your rosy feet
and has attuned itself to universal rhythm.
