He has come from across the ocean of darkness,
He has arrived, crossing over the dark sea,
like the fountain of effulgence into the mind.
Just like a font of light at the core of psyche.
Piercing through the wall of obstacles, he smiled.
Having cleft the bulwark of resistance, He has beamed;
I did not think even for a moment, did not suppress
My heap of good fortune, to the brim He has increased.
his attainment, still that essence of nectar came close.

There is no pain of nonattainment, or losing
There is no right to get Him; of that I never think.
any time, since his love flows from above the time factor.
Yet, with the essence of ambrosia He has come near.

There is no pain of non-attainment... at no time, losing.
From a place higher than time, His love is exuding.

Andhar sagar pare se eseche is the 1701st song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Áṋdhár ságar páre se eseche
Álor jharńá sama maneri májhe
Bádhár práciir cire se heseche
Bhálor pasará mama bhare tuleche

Bhávi nái kśańa tare dábii nái pete táre
Tabu se sudhásáre eseche káche

Vyathá nái ná paoyár kona kále hárávár
Káler urdhve tár priiti jhariche

He has arrived, crossing over the dark sea,
Just like a font of light at the core of psyche.
Having cleft the bulwark of resistance, He has beamed;
My heap of good fortune, to the brim He has increased.

There is no right to get Him; of that I never think.
Yet, with the essence of ambrosia He has come near.

There is no pain of non-attainment... at no time, losing.
From a place higher than time, His love is exuding.
