Varaśá puśpe tumi eso
Ketakiikeshare kuvalay kahláre
Kalápe ketane tumi heso

Sajala háoyáy kájala ákáshe
Mandrita ráge ashani prakáshe
Khadyot dyuti snigdha hutáshe
Saḿhata sáje tumi bháso

Tomár ámár hiyá vinimay
Hayechila kabe káro jáná nay
Se anurakti sháshvatii priiti
Jánila ná kona itiháso

অনুপম রূপে সুস্মিত নীপে
বরষা-পুষ্পে তুমি এসো
কেতকীকেশরে কুবলয় কহ্লারে
কলাপে কেতনে তুমি হেসো

সজল হাওয়ায় কাজল আকাশে
মন্দ্রিত রাগে অশনি প্রকাশে
খদ্যোৎ-দ্যুতি স্নিগ্ধ হুতাশে
সংহত সাজে তুমি ভাসো

তোমার আমার হিয়া বিনিময়
হয়েছিল কবে কারও জানা নয়
সে অনুরক্তি শাশ্বতী প্রীতি
জানিল না কোন ইতিহাসও

O lord,
in an incomparable form,
smiling the niipa,
like a rainy flower,
come.

Into the pollen of ketakii (screwpine flower),
in the smiling petals of the blue lotus,
in the flag that spreads like a peacock’s tail,
smile.

In the moist wind that darkens the sky,
in the resonating melody of lightning and thunder,
in the soft glow of the firefly during disappointment,
appear with grand adornment.

No one knows when
the exchange of hearts between you and me,
took place.

This affection and eternal love,
is unknown to whatsoever history.
