I floated the boat of songs
A raft of lyrics I set adrift
over the waves of the ocean of melody.
Upon the waves of tuneful sea.
It sways to a seesaw rhythmic beat;
It will move on frisky music.

I would move over the swing of rhythm and meters,
Grief's burden I set adrift,
into the colour of your love.
Aiming to find memory of happiness.
I set adrift my everything,
Vanity on honey-stream.

I would find the memory of joy,
Any savings that were mine,
and float my entire ego into the stream of sweetness.
The moonlit nights and mornings bright,
Whatever was accumulated by me,
All, without reserve, I set adrift,
has all been emptied.
Wittingly unto the Infinite.

In a moonlit night and a bright morning,
I float myself unto the infinite.

Bhasiye dilum ganer bhela is the 1357th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Bhásiye dilum gáner bhelá
Surságarer tarauṋgete
Chande tále dodul dole
Calbe ráge rauṋgete

Bhásiye dilum duhkher bojhá
Sukher smrti páoyár khoṋjá
Bhásiye dilum ámár sakal
Ahamiká madhu srote

Saiṋcay jáhá chilo mor
Jyotsná ráti álori bhor
Nihsheśe sab bhásiye dilum
Asiimeri samvite

A raft of lyrics I set adrift
Upon the waves of tuneful sea.
It sways to a seesaw rhythmic beat;
It will move on frisky music.

Grief's burden I set adrift,
Aiming to find memory of happiness.
I set adrift my everything,
Vanity on honey-stream.

Any savings that were mine,
The moonlit nights and mornings bright,
All, without reserve, I set adrift,
Wittingly unto the Infinite.
