Basechile mor tare
Ahetukii krpá kare
Ámi chinu abhimáne
Argal diye dváre

Se diner kathá bhulite pári ná
Se smrti manane dey je dyotaná
Áshá niráshár madhur vedaná
Dolá dey báre báre

Campaka vana ájo paŕe áche
Se tiirthapati dúre cale geche
Ámári bhule bhávanár múle
Bhálabásá geche sare

চম্পক বনে তুমি এসেছিলে
বসেছিলে মোর তরে
অহেতুকী কৃপা করে’
আমি ছিনু অভিমানে
অর্গল দিয়ে দ্বারে

সে দিনের কথা ভুলিতে পারি না
সে স্মৃতি মননে দেয় যে দ্যোতনা
আশা-নিরাশার মধুর বেদনা
দোলা দেয় বারে বারে

চম্পক বন আজও পড়ে’ আছে
সে তীর্থপতি দূরে চলে’ গেছে
আমারই ভুলে ভাবনার মূলে
ভালবাসা গেছে সরে’

To magnolia grove You had reached;
You had waited for me,
Granting unearned mercy.
In a huff had I been,
The doorway bolting.

The event of that day I'm not able to forget;
That memory affects the thought process.
A sweet distress of hope-and-despondence,
It gives sway repeatedly.

Even up to this day a magnolia grove is there,
But gone away is the lord of that sanctuary.
Due to only my mistake, at root of anxiety;
Love has disappeared.
