Chande chariye dile pran priyatama is the 1672nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Chande chaŕiye dile práń priyatama
Bháśay bhariye dile gán
Ásháy ráuṋále ákásh vátás
Bhul bháuṋgále he mahán

Kichu ná thákár májhe sab kichu jánile[nb 2]
Shúńyake púrńa karile
Áloker utsave jiivaner ásabe
D́hálite tomár avadán

Avyakta múk dhará pare
Rág ráginii dile kańt́ha bhare
Ná thákár duhkha gelo sare elo
Thákár ánanderi ván

O lord, the dearest, you have initiated rhythm into life,
and filled the song with language. with hopefulness you
have filled the sky and air, and broken the delusion,
O the great. amidst nothingness, you knew all,
and filled the void ness. in the festivity of light,
you poured the spirit of life, as your gift. on the
unexpressed dumb world, you provided tunes and
filled the throat. the agony of not existing was removed,
and the flood of bliss of existence came.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ In both the original Sargam and the second Bengali edition,[1] jánile (knew) is given. However, in the audio rendition ánile (brought) is sung. In context, the audio rendition makes more sense and is thus preferred here.
