Cidákáshe tumi esechile Mádhurii chaŕiye manke bhariye Kon gahane lukiye gele E lukocuri khelá kena kare jáo Pulake mátiye ajhore káṋdáo Dúre theke shudhu hátcháni dáo E kon kuhake ámáke phele Káche ná ele ár d́ák shunibo ná Tomár hátchánite bhulibo ná Carańa dharite jadi dile ná Manane rákhibo beṋdhe pratipale	চিদাকাশে তুমি এসেছিলে মাধুরী ছড়িয়ে মনকে ভরিয়ে কোন্‌ গহনে লুকিয়ে গেলে এ লুকোচুরি খেলা কেন করে যাও পুলকে মাতিয়ে অঝোরে কাঁদাও দূরে থেকে শুধু হাতছানি দাও এ কোন্‌ কুহকে আমাকে ফেলে কাছে না এলে আর ডাক শুনিব না তোমার হাতছানিতে ভুলিব না চরণ ধরিতে যদি দিলে না মননে রাখিব বেঁধে প্রতিপলে	O lord, you came into the firmament of my mind. but scattering the sweetness, filling the heart, in which depth did you hide? why this game of hide and seek do You go on performing? you intoxicate with joy and make one cry profusely. staying at distance, only You give hand gesture, in what delusion have you thrown me? you did not come close and would not listen to call, and i would not forget your inviting hand gesture. if you would not allow me hold your feet, i shall keep you tied in my mind each moment.
