Devatatma himalaya is the 1330th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Devatátmá himálaya (tumi)
Nagádhirája vaebhave rája
Cira prashánta mahimálaya (tumi)

Tuśáramaoli tumi svaprakásh
Dhúrjat́i mahákaola nivás
Tomár carańe tomár tarańe
Kot́i himaváha bhúloke bay

Juga juga dhari shira uṋcu kari
Rayecha tumi atandra praharii
Ságarer megh nidághodveg
Tava karuńáy vári jharáy

You are the sacred goddess, Himalaya;
And you reign in glory as monarch of the mountains,
You are ever tranquil, rapt in grandeur.

Snowcapped, you are the self-evident
Home of noble sire, Shiva.[nb 2]
At your feet, by your deliverance,
A million glaciers disperse upon Earth.

From age to age, your head upheld,
You've remained the watchful sentinel.
Vexed by summer's heat, the cloud from ocean
Makes rain fall, with Your compassion.
