Diip jvele diye dure jai is the 1789th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Diip jvele diye dúre jái
Álo dekhe mane rekho ámáy
Sure tále bhese jái
Priiti mor gáne mishe jáy

Surasaptake beṋdhechi viińá
Ráge táhá sádhá hayeche ki ná
Tumi balo sur cená ki acená
Ekathá shudhái áj tomáy

Gáner rájá he surasamrát́
Nija mahimáy tumi je svarát́
Vishvavibhu he vibhave virát́
Tava dyutite dhará upacáy

Having kindled the lamp, i go away far, looking at the light,
remember me. i go on floating along the melody and rhythm,
the love goes on getting mixed with the song. i tune the strings
of the viin'a to the octave (seven notes). but whether their melody
is set right or not. you tell me whether the melody is known or
unknown. this i want to explain to you. o the king of songs,
the emperor of melodies, you are grandeur, with your own glory.
O the controller of the world, you are great in wealth. by your
effulgence, the earth overflows.
