O lord,
When inertia comes,
I have threaded this garland heart for you.
Please remove it by Your touch.
I am offering it to you.
Neath constant light of consciousness,
With dye make bright my thoughts.

If you do not like it,
Everybody having brought along
do not lift it up.
And coated with the honey of affection,
Do not look at it
Oh You, so that I may go forward,
if it does not satisfy you.
Please exude such blessing.

My tears and pain
Resounding are Your anklets
are the expression of my inner voice.
Amid those with and without origin;

Dressed in splendor imperceptible,
Although i am but a meagre
Please grant me Your proximity.
I have great hope of attaining you.
This is probably my audacity.

If you do not want me
why did you tie me with the rope of love
by attracting me towards you?

Ei hrdayer malakhani is the 1616th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Ei hrdayer málákháni
Tomár tare geṋthe rákhá
Tomáy dilum arghya dáni

Bhálo ná láge túle nio ná
Man ná bhare ceye dekho ná
Ashru bhará vedaná jhará
Áche ete mor marmaváńii

Kśudra ámi brhat áshá
Tomáy pete tái duráshá
Jadi ná cáo more priitid́ore
Kena beṋdhecho enecho t́áni

When inertia comes,
Please remove it by Your touch.
Neath constant light of consciousness,
With dye make bright my thoughts.

Everybody having brought along
And coated with the honey of affection,
Oh You, so that I may go forward,
Please exude such blessing.

Resounding are Your anklets
Amid those with and without origin;
Dressed in splendor imperceptible,
Please grant me Your proximity.
