Tabe kena d́áko
Kájal áṋká áṋkhi diye
Sajal meghe kena d́háko

Tomár liiláy ei bujhechi
Álo cháyáy nece gechi
Bhálabesechi ár keṋdechi
Priitir parág kena mákho

Tabu tomáy bholá ná jáy
Parashmańi ke kabe páy
Parivartita haboi sonáy
Námer t́áne t́ene rákho

যদি ভালবাস না
তবে কেন ডাক
কাজল-আঁকা আঁখি দিয়ে
সজল মেঘে কেন ঢাক

তোমার লীলায় এই বুঝেছি
আলো-ছায়ায় নেচে’ গেছি
ভালবেসেছি আর কেঁদেছি
প্রীতির পরাগ কেন মাখ

তবু তোমায় ভোলা না যায়
পরশমণি কে কবে পায়
পরিবর্তিত হবই সোণায়
নামের টানে টেনে’ রাখ

O lord,
if you do not love me,
then why do you call?
Marking dark my eyes,
with wet clouds,
why do you cover that?

This i understand as your divine play,
that i dance as per light and shade.
I love and cry,
why do you absorb in the fragrance of love?

Still, it is impossible to forget you.
Who would get the touchstone and when?
It would get converted into gold.
Hence, keep me pulled with the force of attraction of name.
