O lord,
The flower that's bloomed in my mind so deep,
kindly keep on your lotus feet,
Let it reside on the lotus of Your feet.
the flowers that bloomed
The bliss-giving flame all around Thee,
in the depth of my mind.
For it only are many smiles and tears;
That love of Yours, it's emancipating.

Much weeping and many smiles
According to history, with a noose that's serpentine,
were poured out from the lamp
Light on earth is extinguished by tyranny.
that glowed around you.
When it takes place, then comes the Supreme Being,
Awakening hope in those who cannot say a thing.

When, during the serpentine noose of past history,
To agitate in paradise, You have appeared;
the light on earth
Around Yourself, the scent of ambrosia You keep.
became destroyed by terror,
You don't neglect anyone, whomever they may be;
Supreme consciousness (parama purus'a) arrived,
The hope You bring, it is for everybody.
to arouse hope on a dumb face.

You came,
In Your heart, assimilate me.
churning my heavenly garden.
With honey-coated eyes, gaze at me.
You keep yourself surrounded
Give me hope with Your beauty and melody.
by the fragrance of nectar.

You never ignore anyone,
Your aspirations are meant for everyone.
With a sweetnessabsorbed look,
You draw all into your heart.

You fill with beauty and colour
the love
that is free from expectation.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Je phul phut́eche mor maner gabhiire
Táke rekhe dáo tava carańakamala 'pare
Je diip sunandita tomárei ghire ghire
Tári lági jata káṋdá hásá
Vimukta sei bhálabásá

Atiiter itiháse shośańer nágpáshe
Atyácáre jabe avaniir álo náshe
Param puruś tabe áse
Múk mukhe jágáiyá áshá

Nandanavana manthan kare ese tháko
Sudhár surabhite nijere ghiriyá rákho
Kákeo kabhu tumi avahelá karo náko
Sabár lágiyá tava áshá

Hiyá májhe t́ene náo
Madhumákhá cokhe cáo
Rúpe ráge bhare dáo áshá

The flower that's bloomed in my mind so deep,
Let it reside on the lotus of Your feet.
The bliss-giving flame all around Thee,
For it only are many smiles and tears;
That love of Yours, it's emancipating.

According to history, with a noose that's serpentine,
Light on earth is extinguished by tyranny.
When it takes place, then comes the Supreme Being,
Awakening hope in those who cannot say a thing.

To agitate in paradise, You have appeared;
Around Yourself, the scent of ambrosia You keep.
You don't neglect anyone, whomever they may be;
The hope You bring, it is for everybody.

In Your heart, assimilate me.
With honey-coated eyes, gaze at me.
Give me hope with Your beauty and melody.
