Kanane bhomra elo gunguniye is the 1779th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Kánane bhomrá elo (gunguniye)
Oi kánaner phul go ámi
Dekhi tákiye

Kena bhramar elo balo
Mane mor madhu ucchala
Tári áshe áse páshe[nb 2]
Bhramara ghore ceye ceye

Ravir kar ár cáṋder álo
Pápŕite mor rauṋ bharálo
Oi rauṋete man ráuṋálo
Bhramara geche bujhe niye

The bee came into garden humming.
I am a flower in that garden, just go on seeing.
Why the bee came tell me. in my mind, overflowing
honey is present. that is why nearby around that the
bee hovers. the rays of sun and light of the moon,
fill colours into my petals. coloring the mind with
that colour, the bee went explaining.

Notes

  1. ^ For details on the notation, see Roman Bengali transliteration.
  2. ^ This line seems to be in dispute. In all the published Bangla editions, it is given as Tári áshepáshe. However, what appears here is how the song is sung in the audio file.
