Removing the desert mirage, riding the chariot of light,
Mirage of desert cast away,
Who has come? wiping all the darkness, by soft touch,
Upon light's carriage, oh Who came?
who woke me up? i could not imagine that you kept me
All the sad darkness erased,
in your mind and my place was within you. surrounded
With gentle touch Who made awake?
by darkness, i was in deep sleep, who looked at me with

smiling eyes? my life was like desert; sandy storm was
I did not think that You remember me
all around me. o the soft, green, incomparable,
Or that my place is inside Thee.
You brought rumbling awakening.
Darkness-surrounded, I'd been sound asleep;
But You looked on with eyes sweetly smiling.

Like a desert was my life,
A sandstorm upon my four sides.
Hey Peerless One, tender and green,
Profound awareness You did bring.

Marur mariicika sariye is the 1879th song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Marur mariiciká sariye
Áloker rathe ke go ele
Sakal kálimá muchiye diye
Komal sparshe ke jágále

Bhávi niko mane rákho tumi more
Ámáro sthán tava antare
Gherá timire chinu ghumaghore
Susmita nayane tákale

Jiivan ámár chilo maru sama
Báluká jhat́iká cáridike mama
Komal shyámal he anupama
Mandra cetaná ene dile

Mirage of desert cast away,
Upon light's carriage, oh Who came?
All the sad darkness erased,
With gentle touch Who made awake?

I did not think that You remember me
Or that my place is inside Thee.
Darkness-surrounded, I'd been sound asleep;
But You looked on with eyes sweetly smiling.

Like a desert was my life,
A sandstorm upon my four sides.
Hey Peerless One, tender and green,
Profound awareness You did bring.
