Lyrics

Roman script Bengali script Translation

Naviina práte ei aruń álote
Rúper chande ele mor manete

Tumi hásáte jáno tumi kándáte jáno
Lukocuri khelá khelite jáno
Áj álor chat́áy ele práń bharite

Viińár bájáte jáno rág racite jáno
Sure tále jagatke nácáte jáno
Jáno sukhe duhkhe sabái ke bhálobásite

In the new day, in the crimson radiance,
With the rhythm of forms You entered my mind.
You know how to make us laugh.
You know how to make us weep.
You know how to play hide-and-seek.
Today You came to fill my life
With Your rays of radiant light.
You know how to play the lyre.
You know how to weave endless melodies.
You know how to make the world dance
In Your melodies and rhythms.
You know how to love the world
In all its pains and pleasures.

Purport

This is how Sarkar himself described the meaning of the song—[3]

The new dawn has come. In the new crimson dawn, with the rhythm of forms, You entered my mind. You know how to make us laugh and weep. You know how to play hide-and-seek. You filled my life with Your radiant light. You know how to play the lyre, to weave endless melodies, to make the world dance in Your melodies and rhythms. And You know how to love the world with all its pains and pleasures.
