Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Niviŕ nishiith t́ut́i
Jalbhará áṋkhi dut́i ut́heche phut́i
Kena káṋde kii bá táhári trut́i

Bhálo se besechilo priya tomáre
Marma saṋpechilo tomári tare
Tumi nile ná tá bujhile ná kii tá
Tái to ajhore jhare nayana dut́i

Jiivaner ei saḿkránti ghire
Je járe bhálabáse peyeche táre
Se je bhálabáse tumi báso ná táke
Tabu tár man cale tomáte chút́i

The intense darkness of his life has broken down
and both his tearful eyes have opened up.

Whom is he constantly thinking of?
Whom does he seek?
Why is he crying?
What was his fault?

He has loved you,
and surrendered his core of heart to you.
However, you did not accept it,
and did not understand that heart.
That is why both his eyes constantly flow tears.

At the transition point of life,
those who love someone, get that person.
He loves you, yet you do not love him.
And still, his mind keeps rushing unto you.
