Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Phuler sáje tumi ele
Ekii liiláy man mátáte
Candaneri gandhe madir
Chandáyita giitimáláte

Háriye jete neiko máná
Ghare jete man cáy ná
Kiser nesháy káhár ásháy
Sabái náce vanaviithite

Bakul párul hátcháni dey
Cáṋpár kali gandhe mátáy
Eklá belá pathapáne cáy
Tomár tare málá geṋthe

O lord,
in floral adornment you came in an illusive play,
enchanting my mind.

You came with intoxicating sandalwood fragrance,
through rhythmic series of songs.

No hindrance is there left to lose oneself in you.
My mind does no longer want to stay at home.

In hope of you and in frenzy,
all dance in the mental shpere.

The bakul and parul flowers,
call by waving their hand.
The campa bud is intoxicated with fragrance.

Those left alone,
seek the path,
by threading you a garland.
