Tabu náhi áso marme ná bháso
Bujhi mor náhi sádhaná

Jáni bhálabáso vyathá bujhe tháko
Ámár ámi-re káche káche rákho
Tomár e priiti ámár pratiiti
Duye mile ek halo ná

Gaŕe tolo more manomata kare
Áro bhálo kare cinite tomáre
Tumi cháŕá nái jagate kehai
Dáo more ei cetaná

তোমার কথাই ভাবিতে ভাবিতে
দিন চলে’ যায় কত না
তবু নাহি আস মর্মে না ভাস
বুঝি মোর নাহি সাধনা

জানি ভালবাস ব্যথা বুঝে’ থাক
আমার ‘আমি’-রে কাছে কাছে রাখ
তোমার এ প্রীতি আমার প্রতীতি
দু’য়ে মিলে এক হ’ল না

গড়ে’ তোল মোরে মনোমত করে’
আরো ভালো করে’ চিনিতে তোমারে
তুমি ছাড়া নাই জগতে কেহই
দাও মোরে এই চেতনা

O lord, thinking of you,
how many days are passing off.
still you do not come
and appear in the mind,
i know that i have no
proper endeavor of sa’dhana.
i know You love and understand my pain
and keep my “self” close to you.
but your love and my realization
both have not become one by unifying.
lift me up; make me as per your choice,
so that i may recognize you
in still better way.
except you there is no other entity
in the universe,
provide me this awareness.
