O lord,
I have gazed at You in beauty and affection,
I love you as the colourful and beautiful form,
With a broad, honey-filled implication,
as the sweetness-filled and grand effulgence.
All of my weariness having got obliterated
that wiped out all my agonies,
By the scrubbing of every fault.
and forgave all my errors.

Come with purity-enameled royal adornment,
Impeccable, in royal garb please come
into an environment free from dark fog.
With an entourage freed from dark fog,
Come, pulsating in the moonlight sea,
With moonlight-fascination of bright ocean,
as beach shells reflect a golden effulgence.
With the golden glow of nacred shore.

O great one,
Hey You, Most Great One, beyond speech and psyche,
You are beyond speech and thought.
Inside You the whole of Creation is residing.
The vast boundaries of the universe are located within you.
Higher than time's limitation, You are never-ending;
You are above and beyond the time factor.
That is why one and all, they long for Thee.

And that is why all cherish you.

Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tomáre ceyechi ráge rúpe ámi
Madhubhará mahá dyotanáy
Sab gláni mor múche phele diye
Sakala trut́ir márjanáy

Apápaviddha eso rájaveshe
Kálo kuheli mukta pariveshe
Smita payodhir jyotsná áveshe
Shuktibelár svarńimáy

He virát́ tumi váuṋ manotiita
Vishvaparibhú tomáte nihita
Káler urdhve tumi kálátiita
Tái sakalei cáhe tomáy

I have gazed at You in beauty and affection,
With a broad, honey-filled implication,
All of my weariness having got obliterated
By the scrubbing of every fault.

Impeccable, in royal garb please come
With an entourage freed from dark fog,
With moonlight-fascination of bright ocean,
With the golden glow of nacred shore.

Hey You, Most Great One, beyond speech and psyche,
Inside You the whole of Creation is residing.
Higher than time's limitation, You are never-ending;
That is why one and all, they long for Thee.
