তোমারে চেয়েছি সুরে রূপে রাগে
তোমারে পেয়েছি অনুরাগে
তোমারে দেখেছি মোহন শিহরণে
ভেসেছি তোমারই পরাগে

জানা-না-জানার ঊর্ধ্বে আসনে
বসিয়া রয়েছো সুস্মিতাননে
আমার সব চাওয়া আমার সব পাওয়া
তোমার বীণাতারে সদা জাগে

তুমি যে আমার অতি আপনার
তুমি ছাড়া মোর কেহ নাহি আর
তোমার দেওয়া মনে তোমার দেওয়া প্রাণে
আমার অনুভূতি কৃপা মাগে

O Lord,
I desired for you
in form, melody and attraction,
but attained you in love.

I saw you in sweet shivers,
and floated in your fragrance.

You remain seated with a smiling face,
locating yourself beyond the known and the unknown.

All my wants and attainments
resonate in the strings of your lyre.

You are my closest,
