Tomare peyechi is the 42nd song of Prabhat Ranjan Sarkar's Prabhat Samgiita.[1][2]

Lyrics

Roman script Bengali script Translation

Tomáre peyechi
Aruń álote hásimákhá práte,
Kamal kánane kújane
Prabhát samiire niir nirjhare,
Van viithikáy viijane

Calár pather patane uttháne
Hásite nritye chande o táne
Madhur smritite marma giitite,
Sakal shravańe manane,

Tomáre cinechi
Bhálobásiyáchi káchete peyechi
Mukhar svapane smarańe,

O Lord,
I have attained You in the smiling crimson dawn,
In the murmurings of the lotus garden,
In the morning breeze,
In the flow of the fountains,
In the lonely tree-lined forest paths.
I have attained You in the ups and downs of my path,
In laughter and in dance,
In rhythm and in melody,
In sweet remembrances,
In the song of my innermost heart,
In all that I hear and all that I think,
In the murmurings of the lotus garden.
I have realized You,
I have loved You, I have brought You close
In my memories and in all my eloquent dreams.

Purport

This is how Sarkar himself described the meaning of the song.[3]

Along the path of progress, the movement towards the goal is not a straight and plain road. There are so many ups and downs. O Lord, You have been with me during the ups and also during the downs. In my pleasures You were with me in the smiles on my face, and in my pains also You were with me in the tears in my eyes. You have been with me in all circumstances and in all conditions. You never leave me. You are so near to me. You maintain the closest proximity to me. You are my closest friend.
