Rákhá áche mor phul
T́agara júthii belá málatii
Cáṋpá goláp bakul

Shishirasikta madhuniśikta
Hiyára bhálabásáy abhiśikta
Jatane cayan kariyá enechi
Suváse sudhá samatul

Chande gáne náce mátiyá tomár
Vana upavan diyeche phulabhár
Vasanteri náce hillolera májhe
Sáji bhariyáchi oŕáye elo cúl

তোমারই তরে সাজি ভরে
রাখা আছে মোর ফুল
টগর যূথী বেলা মালতী
চাঁপা গোলাপ বকুল

শিশিরসিক্ত মধুনিষিক্ত
হিয়ার ভালবাসায় অভিষিক্ত
যতনে চয়ন করিয়া এনেছি
সুবাসে সুধা সমতুল

ছন্দে গানে নাচে মাতিয়া তোমার
বন উপবন দিয়েছে ফুলভার
বসন্তেরই নাচে হিল্লোলের মাঝে
সাজি ভরিয়াছি ওড়ায়ে এলো চুল

For you and you alone
have i filled my basket
with the choicest blooms
tagar, jasmine, mogra, bokul,
malati, magnolia and rose.

Dewsoaked blooms,
honied blooms,
blooms drenched
in the deep love of the heart,
have i selected with utmost care
for fragrances rare and nectar divine.

Through your woods and glades
in ecstatic rhythm and song
I danced in intoxicated joy
amidst countless floral blooms
filling my baskets
while the spring breeze played
through my flowing hair.
