Tree-Planting Ceremony is the 16th chapter of Ananda Marga Caryacarya Part 1. In this chapter Anandamurti discussed the procedure of three-planting ceremony.[1]
Chapter synopsis
Anandamurti instructed to plant the tree while mentally reciting guru mantra. Then while pouring some water on tree everyone present will recite the following verse with Acarya/a—[1]
Oṋḿ madhu vátá rtáyate madhu kśarantu sindhavah;
Mádhviirnah santvośadhiih.
Madhu naktamutośaso madhumat párthivaḿ rajah;
Madhu dyaorastu nah pitá.
Madhumán no vanaspatirmadhumán astu súryah;
Mádhviirgávo bhavantu nah.
Oṋḿ madhu oṋḿ madhu oṋḿ madhu.
The meaning of the verse is—[1]
