Lyrics

Roman script[nb 1] Bengali script Translation

Tumi sabáre samán bhálabása
Tumi sabár lágiyá káj kara
Tumi sabár hrdaye udbhása
Tumi sabár jiivane madhu bhara

Áṋdhár nishiithe tumi diipávalii
Nidághete ása jal chalachali
Vyathita hiyáy mádhurii d́hála
Tumi ahaetukii krpá kare aneke táro

Tumi sabár manete pashi manke dekha
Tumi kona bádhátei kabhu tháma náko
Tumi uttál sindhute tariit́i ána
Tumi jiṋáner kájale cokh kholáte pára

You have equal love for all.
You work for all.
You take your seat in every heart.
You fill all lives with sweetness.

You are like the festival of lights
in the deep dark night.
You come like streams of splashing water
in the scalding summer heat.

You liberate many with your unconditional grace.
You enter the minds of all and see them.
You never stop before any obstacle.

You steer the boat even through surging seas.
You open the eyes of all
with the collyrium of knowledge.
