Varaśár ráte tumi esechile
Vajrakant́he dhvaniyá
Ashaninipáte múśaladháráte
Hunkáre dhará bhariyá

Parvatasama ávilatá bhár
Jaler toŕete rahilo ná ár
(Járá) Dharár áloke kálo karechilo
Tárá gelo kothá bhásiyá

Mánave mánave bhed jágáiyá
Jiirńa kareche sukomal hiyá
Madhura vátáse pápe viśáiche
Tárá gelo dúre sariyá́

বরষার রাতে তুমি এসেছিলে
বজ্রকন্ঠে ধ্বনিয়া
অশনিনিপাতে মুষলধারাতে
হুঙ্কারে ধরা ভরিয়া

পর্বতসম আবিলতা ভার
জলের তোড়েতে রহিলো না আর
(যারা) ধরার আলোকে কালো করেছিলো
তারা গেলো কোথা ভাসিয়া

মানবে মানবে ভেদ জাগাইয়া
জীর্ণ করেছে সুকোমল হিয়া
মধুর বাতাসে পাপে বিষাইছে
তারা গেলো দূরে সরিয়া

On a stormy night You came
Amid the sound of thunder.
Lightning falling with torrential rain,
You war cry spread around the world.

Mountain high piles of dirt and dross
no longer could stand your tide.

Whither are those
who blackened the light of this earth,
who created walls of separation amongst human beings,
who battered tender hearts.

They polluted the fresh breeze with sin,
but now they have vanished.
