Tár mandamadir malay samiir
Mahákáshe bhese' áche

Se je áche mishe' aruń prakáshe
Púrvákáshe tamasár sheśe
Atandra nishá hrt áshá bháśá
Tári bharasár 'pare náce

Tár gán gái tári kathá bhávi
Tári tarauṋge ut́hi ár návi
Tári priitirase madhurábháse
Viińá jhaḿkáre giiti báje

অচেনা অজানা রয়ে গেছে (সে যে)
তার মন্দমদির মলয় সমীর
মহাকাশে ভেসে’ আছে

সে যে আছে মিশে’ অরুণ প্রকাশে
পূর্বাকাশে তমসার শেষে
অতন্দ্র নিশা হৃৎ আশা ভাষা
তারই ভরসার 'পরে নাচে

তার গান গাই তারই কথা ভাবি
তারই তরঙ্গে উঠি আর নাবি
তারই প্রীতিরসে মধুরাভাসে
বীণা ঝংকারে গীতি বাজে

He remained unknown and unrecognized.
His soft, intoxicating, sandal breeze,
goes on floating in the Great Space.
He remains merged in crimson light
of the dawn at the end of the night
in the eastern sky.
The active night,
having lost hope and language,
dances due to His assurance.
Under His waves, I rise and drop.
In the flow of His love,
with sweet appearance,
with the tinkling of viin’a’,
the melody plays.
