Rúper sáyare d́ub diye ámi
Arúp ratan labhiyáchi
Lásye o hásye diirghábhiláśe
Prárthita priya peye gechi

Ratnákarero e ratna nái
Ákáshe vátáse jedike tákái
Sab kichu áche eki shudhu nái
Se ekere áj dhariyáchi

Prakáshye cená jáy ná e mańi
Áṋdháre jhalake cittera khani
Bhávabandhane báṋdhá áche jáni
Tabu bhaye mari nái bujhi'

রূপের সায়রে ডুব দিয়ে আমি
অরূপ রতন লভিয়াছি
লাস্যে ও হাস্যে দীর্ঘাভিলাষে
প্রার্থিত প্রিয় পেয়ে গেছি

রত্নাকরেরও এ রত্ন নাই
আকাশে বাতাসে যেদিকে তাকাই
সব কিছু আছে একই শুধু নাই
সে একেরে আজ ধরিয়াছি

প্রকাশ্যে চেনা যায় না এ মণি
আঁধারে ঝলকে চিত্তের খনি
ভাববন্ধনে বাঁধা আছে জানি
তবু ভয়ে মরি নাই বুঝি'

I am sunk in form's sea;
I've obtained the gem form-free.
By amorous gesture and smiling with long-held desire,
I have gained the prayed-for Darling.

This jewel is not of a gem-mining quarry...
On sky, in air, wherever I make scrutiny.
Everything exists, just one thing is not there;
Today I've seized that Singular Entity.

This precious stone does not get known publicly;
Sparkles in darkness the mine of psyche.
By thought-fetters it is tied, I perceive;
And yet, not grasping, I am troubled by fear.
